OPEC and Non-OPEC Supply

The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) in 2016 has 13 member countries (www.opec.org/opec_web/en/about_us/25.htm), with a mission to coordinate and unify petroleum policies. This plot provides information as to where historical and current supply growth is coming from internationally, and how much of an impact OPEC is having on that supply growth. Market expectations of supply trends are an important factor influencing oil prices.
